Repair or replace
Repair it, or replace it?
If the cabinet and pan are sound and a wear part failed, repair is usually the first price to get. If the pan or cabinet has rusted through, or several parts fail in one season, price a replacement too. Enter what you know; leave the age blank if you are not sure.

How the helper leans
Wear parts lean repair
Pads, pumps, belts and floats are made to be replaced. One failing is upkeep, not the end of the cooler.
Rust-through leans replace
The pan and cabinet hold the water. Once they rust through, a patch is often a stopgap; ask how long one would last.
Age matters more after 15 years
This site's own rule of thumb, not a manufacturer rating: from about 15 years, cabinet condition and repeat failures weigh more than the part that failed. The helper accepts ages from 0 to 60.
Burning smell: decide later
Keep it off and have it looked at first. Whether it is worth repairing depends on what is found.
